PRIME FOREMAN OPPORTUNITY

Expert Construction, Inc. has an immediate opening for experienced Foreman Carpenters to lead our commercial carpentry projects. In this role, you will be the primary on-site leader, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to high- quality standards while working alongside your crew. It is essential that you demonstrate a complete understanding and appreciation of commercial carpentry. You will be the on-site leader, comfortable taking the lead and providing direction on small or large jobs, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to high- quality standards. A Foreman at Expert would have worked on all types of commercial carpentry projects through the years and be able to quickly read a blueprint and determine the best course of action. You would need to be familiar with all aspects of metal stud framing, including best practices for exterior/interior, heavy/light gauge, soffit work, acoustical ceilings, and drywall hanging. Our Foremen wear the tools and work on the crew production style. They need to be the fastest carpenter on the crew. WHAT WE OFFER • Competitive bi-weekly pay (based on experience) • Direct coaching from master craftsmen • Local work - 60 mile radius around Cleveland, Ohio • Steady, year-round work • 40 hour work weeks • Permanent hire • Positive work environment • Direct deposit • W-2 employee • Health Reimbursement plan • 401k with Company Match up to 4% • Vacation time KEY RESPONSIBILITES • Supervise and delegate tasks to a team of 1–3+ carpenters • Perform framing, layout, and finish carpentry tasks while overseeing site production • Read blueprints and construction plans to ensure accuracy in framing and installation • Enforce workplace safety regulations and maintain high standards for all on-site operations • Serve as the first point of contact for subcontractors, architects, and project managers • Allocate labor, materials, and equipment efficiently to minimize waste

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in framing and/or finish carpentry, with at least

1–2 years in a leadership role

• Deep understanding of carpentry techniques and local building codes

• Proficiency in operating standard industry tools and heavy machinery as needed

• Ability to manage daily reports, schedules, and material orders

• Stable employment history with verifiable references

• Live in or are willing to relocate to the Cleveland, Ohio area

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background

check

• Must be able to pass a drug screening
